There is a morning registration period. Pupils are also registered by a computerised system at every period of the day.
Assemblies regularly include a short act of religious observance which may be led by one of the school chaplains. At the end of Autumn and Spring terms there are short religious services to mark the end of term and celebrate the Christian festivals of Christmas and Easter. Parents are very welcome at the end of term services, details of which are given in the calendar and via the school newsletter website, etc.
A new system of reporting to parents is being developed and it is hoped to start this in session 2010/11. For most pupils, especially in S3 and above, this is likely to result in regular “tracking reports” being sent home every month. The new system is still being finalised and full details will be sent to parents early in the first term of 2010/11.
