Change the second drop down menu from standard to Clear Type. This will make the fonts easier to read on screen.

Access keys are keyboard shortcuts that replace the need to use the mouse for navigation in browsers that support them.

In Internet Explorer on Windows, you can press ALT + an access key. Then press Enter to activate the link.

On Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key. Then press Enter to activate the link.

RSS Feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and provides an easy way to receive updates from websites you subscribe to. So you don't need to revisit those sites for updates because the news comes to you.

On this site RSS feeds are in orange. To use the feed right click your mouse on the orange icon and go to ‘Copy Shortcut’ on a PC on a Mac use ‘Copy link location’ then paste this into your RSS reader.

A news aggregator also called an RSS reader, will check all of your favorite websites and will inform you if new content has arrived. There are readers for both Windows and Mac users. There are also online services that work in most browsers, so you eliminate the need for downloading an application.

Development of site

The site uses ExpressionEngine a CMS (Content Management System) to manage the website. This site is hosted by EngineHosting.

Visual design

This website uses cascading style sheets for visual layout.

If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets the content of each page will be readable.

The site has been designed so that text will scale proportionally in relation to the size of text in a browser. Most browsers allow the user to increase or decrease the text size.

On Windows

If you use Firefox, Mozilla change the text size by holding down the CTRL key and press the plus key (CTRL + plus) or minus key (CTRL + minus) to increase or decrease the text size respectively.

If you use Internet Explorer, on the menu bar choose View > Text Size and then the desired size from the list.
